Yanagiya - Jennos Bayu (Horse Oil) Hair Treatment (Review)

What is it?

This is a Horse oil product which has been made by a well know brand in Japan Yanagiya. The product uses natural horse oil and other compounds to create a hair treatment to revitalize your hair by replenishing and repairs damaged hair, meanwhile protecting hair from further irritation.

Cost :  $5 - $8 USD depending where you buy it from.

Verdict :

Horse oil have been all the Rave in Asia and there is a wide range of brands and products for face, hair and foot and hand cream. I also go into the hype but really have not been too impressed with a lot of the brands at offer.

In saying so, this product did work well on the hair to smooth it out and make it shine very nicely.
I have very dry ends at the moment as i am tying to grow my hair out for a wedding and its been hard to lock down on a products to stop split ends.

Pros :

The products dose deliver a good shine and makes your hair look illuminated which i was really impressed. It kinda gave me highlights my hair was brown and it made the light brown sparkle in the light ..woohoo..
Hair was easier to manage and very smooth

Cons:
although the product makes your hair smooth and shiny but if you put too much on you can have very oily looking hair and especial if you it on the top of you hair. So remember to only use the product mainly on the mid to ends of your hair to ensure you don't look dirty and oily.

care through out the day when using the product as it might cause you to get the product in the eyes when you are out as your natural oil plus the horse oil can cause eye irritation...  i found it our first hand... :(
But i would still use the product in moderation and have learn to use it only in the back or ends of the hair .

Personally Horse hair oil is no different from the Australian Emu and Lanolin oil range. The Japanese products seem to have more Jazzie packaging and a wider product range but for value for your buck i would definitely use the Australian Emu and Lanolin cosmetic range.

My personal favorite is the G and M  and the Emu Heaven Brand
